Raiders TE Brock Bowers misses Thursday practice

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson did not practice for a second straight day with a hamstring injury.

Safety Kyle Hamilton (groin) also didn’t practice Thursday after being limited yesterday.

All signs are pointing toward a Cooper Rush start versus the Texans defense, and that's not something we'd want to attack in fantasy. Outside of Derrick Henry and Zay Flowers, we should be avoiding the Ravens with Jackson sidelined.

Not practicing: Mike Evans, Bucky Irving, Jamel Dean, Benjamin Morrison, Christian Izien.

Practicing: Baker Mayfield, Tristan Wirfs, Lavonte David, Chris Godwin, Zyon McCollum, Haason Reddick, Tykee Smith, Logan Hall, Greg Gaines, Charlie Heck, Sterling Shepard.

As Greg said, lots to take in here, but not a ton of surprises.

As it stands, we're not expecting any positive Week 5 news for Irving or Evans, which locks Godwin, Emeka Egbuka, and Rachaad White into fantasy-friendly roles, while Mayfield should be in low-end QB1 consideration unless he experiences a setback.

Carson Wentz will start for the Vikings in London vs. the #Browns on Sunday, per a league source.

Rookie QB J.J. McCarthy still isn’t ready and hasn’t practiced this week. Now officially out.

This seemed to be the case for a while now, as the Vikings have a Week 6 bye which gives the pseudo-rookie extra time to heal. Consider Wentz a fade this week against a tough Browns pass rush.
