Talked to CeeDee Lamb. Has a cut on his foot that required stitches.

We learned earlier Lamb was dealing with a foot injury but reports said he was being held out of a joint practice with the Chargers as a precaution. The tweet went on to say Lamb wouldn't say how it happened and he just begrudgingly said clown stuff. He could miss some more time but it shouldn't affect his status for Week 1.

David Helman tweeted about Lamb: "considered 'nothing serious at all.' Sounds like it’s just rest." The Cowboys are taking on the Chargers in practice sessions, so the assumption is there is no need to push him, especially against what's expected to be a tough LA defense.

The Cowboys will be without WR James Washington for 6-10 weeks because of a fractured right foot suffered Monday, according to multiple sources. He is scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday in Dallas.

With Gallup recovering from an ACL injury, it looks like the rookie Tolbert and Brown are next up on the suddenly thin depth chart, behind Lamb.

The Dallas Cowboys have traded WR Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns for draft picks.

The Cowboys found a trade partner for Cooper, who becomes the obvious WR1 in Cleveland. Jarvis Landry is expected to play elsewhere in 2022, making Cooper the favorite to lead the Browns in targets.

Ezekiel Elliott (knee), CeeDee Lamb (concussion), Tarell Basham (chest) were all full participants in today’s practice.

Cedrick Wilson (ankle) did not practice for second consecutive day.

Good news for the Cowboys, especially with Lamb and the news Cooper may have to miss Thursday's game because of COVID symptoms. Machota pointed out the Cowboys WRs vs. Saints could be Lamb, Gallup, Brown, Turner and Fehoko.

Cooper is not vaccinated and still has symptoms. He was required to miss two games over a 10-day period but because he's still not feeling well he could miss a third game as a result. With Lamb back in the fold after a concussion, he would likely be the team's WR1. Gallup is more of a big play threat while Wilson could be more of a WR2-type with Brown also mixing in.

Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was also a full participant on Monday.

Lamb did not clear the concussion protocol in time to play on Thanksgiving, but he is set to return to action against the Saints. Also scheduled to return is Cooper so the WR group should be at full strength for Thursday's game.

Lamb missed Thursday's game against the Raiders after leaving Week 11 against the Chiefs with his concussion and the short week kept him from playing on Thanksgiving. The Cowboys play again on Thursday but it amounts to a normal week for them in terms of game prep. Sunday will be what is normally a Wednesday during a game week, so the Cowboys will be back on the practice field today.

According to Tom Pelissero on Twitter, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will not play this afternoon against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a concussion.

CeeDee was not able to get cleared in time for Week 12 and remains in concussion protocol. Amari Cooper will also be inactive against the Raiders as he remains on the reserve/COVID list. Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson will operate as the Cowboys top two receivers, with CeeDee and Amari both inactive. Gallup is our 17th ranked receiver for Week 12.
