Emeka Egbuka returns to practice Friday

Rico Dowdle is questionable for Sunday against New Orleans with a knee injury. Pittsburgh did not practice Friday because of the weather; Dowdle’s limited participation was an estimate.

If Dowdle misses, Warren would have a clearer path to additional carries and receiving work, strengthening his RB1 case against New Orleans. Dowdle would be a riskier FLEX if active without clarity on his workload.

Puka Nacua’s calf injury is believed to be minor, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Friday. His availability for Sunday against Las Vegas remains uncertain after he left Thursday’s practice early.

This is encouraging for Nacua’s outlook, but managers should keep a replacement available for Sunday’s late window. He remains a WR1 if cleared for his usual workload. If he sits, Mumpfield would jump into WR3/FLEX consideration with WR2 upside, while Whittington would become a deeper-league option. Higbee would gain streaming appeal, and Stafford would become a riskier start with both starting WRs sidelined.

Jordan Love practiced fully Thursday after being estimated as limited with a back injury during Wednesday’s walkthrough.
