For the second straight day today, Packers’ WR Christian Watson did not practice due to a hamstring injury.

What was setting up for a nice debut week for new QB Jordan Love is suddenly not so positive as Watson may not be on the field for Week 1. Doubs has also been limited throughout the week, which further dings the Packers offense as a whole. If Friday doesn't deliver some good news, Love will fall out of favor in Superflex leagues.

While Christian Watson got most of the attention for his big plays late last season, Doubs has seemingly become quarterback Jordan Love's go-to guy -- at least in the offseason practices. Whether it's in scripted team periods or move-the-ball drills like the two-minute simulation, Doubs has been targeted time and again. Don't forget, it was Doubs who starred last preseason when Love got all the No. 1 reps in the games because Aaron Rodgers didn't play. And Doubs was off to a strong start last year as a rookie until a midseason ankle injury changed his trajectory.

If Doubs becomes a target-hungry 1-2 punch with Watson, this inevitably pushes the rest of the Packers' options down the pecking order, most notably Jayden Reed. Reed was a second-round selection in this year's draft, but that doesn't automatically mean he will be an integral fantasy piece. This is a situation with fantasy ramifications that we need to keep an eye on.

Sounds like Christian Watson, Yosh Nijman, and Keisean Nixon all avoided significant injuries. Coach Matt LaFleur said they would be "day to day" this week.

Watson's mid-season explosion has tapered off the last few weeks, and his hip injury knocked him out of Week 15 after only 20 routes run. We should understand the status of his hip better later on this week.

If there is anything the Packers (4-7) would like to see from here to the finish line in the final six games of what looks like a lost season -- other than perhaps some game action for backup quarterback Jordan Love -- it’s more of what the rookie receivers Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs can do together.

Fifty-two snaps. That’s all Watson and Doubs have played together this season. Eleven games into the season, and the rookie receivers have been on the field at the same time for what amounts to less than one full game, the story said.

Jones is looking like he'll have a good shot to play after not being able to finish the game in Week 9.

Packers WR Romeo Doubs has a high-ankle sprain. Those are generally 4-6 week injuries, though further tests will determine the timeframe. But another target for Aaron Rodgers to miss time.

This offense was an abject disaster before Doubs went down, and stud running back Aaron Jones may be forced to miss time as well. Seventh-round rookie Samori Toure stepped in and logged a season-high 28 snaps, turning four targets into a 2-34 line. Outside of Allen Lazard working as a fantasy WR3, this entire passing offense is a stay-away after the team managed nine points against the NFL's worst defense in Week 9.

Packers WR Romeo Doubs is out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Lions with an ankle injury.

As if the Packers' day couldn't get any worse, as their offense has been non-existent so far against the Lions. Aaron Rodgers has thrown 3 interceptions and the Packers are currently being shutout, 8-0. Now, they'll try to come back without Doubs, who had 1 catch for 18 yards.

Allen Lazard said he heard a “snap, crackle and pop” in his left shoulder and said this week vs. Buffalo is probably a no-go.

The Green Bay Packers' WR1 has eclipsed 70 receiving yards on only two occasions this season, so his departure from the lineup is probably not affecting your fantasy team too much. In a good passing offense, this would help raise the tide of other wide receivers but in Green Bay, it likely just means that you should be starting tight end Robert Tonyan and leaving Romeo Doubs and Sammy Watkins for all of the most desperate situations.
