Chargers Hassan Haskins (hamstring) doubtful for Week 8

When you’re an NFL kicker who misses two extra points in a one-point loss, your job is not safe. So it’s no surprise that the Giants cut kicker Jude McAtamney today.

McAtamney missed two extra points in the Giants’ 33-32 loss to the Broncos on Sunday, and today he was placed on waivers, according to Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post.

The story went on to say the Giants will likely either activate Gano from injured reserve or call up Koo from the practice squad to handle the kicking on Sunday against the Eagles.

Commanders wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel are expected to return to full participation in practice this week.

It was the fourth game McLaurin has missed this season since his injury in Week 3, the story pointed out. Samuel has had little practice time the past three weeks, but Sunday’s game was the first that he’s missed, the story added.

Does Jakobi Meyers still desire to be traded?

“Oh, for sure. But I'm a professional at the end of the day. I'm just trying to play good football.”

Meyers went on to say, “I got no control over that. If I'm here, I'm here.” So it at least sounds like he'll continue to play if a trade isn't made. He's also open to an extension. Given the reports there are a lot of WR-needy teams, it's very possible Meyers gets moved to a better situation.
