Bucs lose TE O.J. Howard to ankle injury

Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie tight end O.J. Howard suffered an ankle injury in the team's 24-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night and did not return.

Howard had a 30-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown in the first quarter, the Bucs' only score in the first half.

Fantasy Impact:

Howard's status for Week 16 is certainly in question at this point, as reports say he was in a walking boot following the game. Brate was also injured in the game after a big hit but actually returned. Assuming Brate remains OK, he could be in store for a big workload in Week 16 if Howard is unable to go.
