Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (ankle) avoids PUP list

Due to an inability to agree to a contract extension with the Raiders, WR Jakobi Meyers has requested a trade, per source.

The post went on to say Meyers is going into the final year of his deal and is set to make a base salary of $10.5M in '25. This is certainly a situation to monitor as we head into the meat of draft season. Should Meyers get moved off the Raiders, rookies Bech and Thornton could very well be the team's top-two WRs with Tucker likely also in the mix behind TE Bowers. Thornton has turned more heads than Bech so far this summer, but Bech would likely have to have some role in the offense and does have more draft capital as well.

Kicker Jason Sanders is not going to be available at the start of the season but not season-ending.

The timeline for Sanders looks to be about 4-5 weeks, according to other reports. Look for the team to bring in another kicker.

Jaylen Wright likely won't play Week 1 but "not too far off .. after that," McDaniel said.

The rookie Gordon should slot in behind Achane as the team's RB2. It could be something to keep an eye on later in fantasy drafts. Wright didn't look good in the preseason and the Dolphins are looking to improve in short yardage situations with the loss of Alexander Mattison, so Gordon will likely have some fantasy value right from the start - with the potential to keep the RB2 job even when Wright comes back.
