Per Zac, Elijah Moore was frequently targeted by Deshaun Watson throughout Wednesday's practice, mostly on quick passes. Their best connection of the day came in a red-zone 7-on-7 period for a touchdown as Moore used a double move and turned to see the ball delivered right where he wanted it. The Browns are clearly stressing three things: fast tempo, an attacking mindset on defense, and feeding wide receiver Moore.

Jackson would continue later in the article; "We’re seeing Moore line up in different spots and plenty of Moore going in motion. How his exact role shakes out remains to be seen, but from two open practices, it’s clear the Browns want to get him the ball on short passes and let him create."

This is good news for Moore and those of us who wanted to see him get another chance after his interesting talent set was left to die on the vine while catching passes from the Zach Wilsons of the world. If the Browns really do use him in the inside and outside, there is a chance we can see Moore in some 2WR sets this season.

Anthony Schwartz has had the opportunity to carve out a role in a thin Browns wide receiver room but finds himself on the outside looking in at 3-WR sets.

Rookie David Bell looks like the current third wide receiver option behind Peoples-Jones and Amari Cooper. Schwartz ran 42 routes over Cleveland's three preseason games, catching three of his twelve targets, dropping an incredible five of them, and averaging 0.67 yards per route run.

Anthony Schwartz suffered a knee injury Thursday morning that is going to require "further examination."

Schwartz was expected to be the no. 3 wide receiver with Amari Cooper and Donovan Peoples-Jones, at least until rookie David Bell got up to speed. Bell is on the PUP list for the time being, but he "ended up doing at least some of the same things his fellow receivers did Thursday — just at a slower pace." If Schwartz's injury is serious, it will open the door for Bell, or possibly Javon Wims, who is currently on the NFI list.
