Every week I’ll be posting a few of my favorite plays in this article with brief write-ups of each play. I’ll use this space below to recap the previous week and share any thoughts or takeaways I have going forward.

Week 14 Recap

Another green week on Chalkboard, and hopefully it’s a preview of how we’ll finish out the regular season. Our Josh Allen play was on track until Joe Burrow threw a pick-six and then another interception 30 seconds later, flipping the game and giving Buffalo a late lead. Luckily, we got the runout we needed when the Bills stalled at the goal line, letting us sneak over 27.5 pass attempts by one. In my write-up for JJ over 15.5 completions, I pointed out that despite Washington’s broader issues, the offense had been relatively steady, and Jayden Daniels’ return should’ve provided a lift—forcing Minnesota and JJ into more passing volume. Well… that couldn’t have been more wrong. Washington didn’t score a single point, and the Vikings controlled the game start to finish, barely asking JJ to drop back. Thankfully, KOC wanted an extended look at his young quarterback and had him throwing while up 31 with five minutes remaining, letting us cash the over by one.

Tee over 4.5 receptions was a complete roller coaster. He had a couple drops, briefly exited for a concussion check, and still managed to produce a huge 6/92/2 line. In a matchup with two explosive offenses and two awful defenses, taking Tee over 4.5 was simply too good to pass up. Barner under 3.5 receptions got a little sweaty since we needed Seattle to create separation and lean on the run. Eventually, that’s exactly how it played out. Seattle pulled away early in the second half, and Darnold stopped dropping back, which cut down Barner’s chances. Pollard under 52.5 rushing yards was a quick loss and a total misread of the game environment. I mean… who had Browns/Titans combining for 60 points on their bingo card?

Week 15 NFL Bets

Bryce Young UNDER 30.5 Pass Attempts

Bryce has eclipsed 30.5 pass attempts in just one of his last 10 games, and in his earlier meeting with New Orleans this season, he threw only 25 times—even in a loss. Carolina operates at a crawl, ranking as the fifth-slowest team in neutral pace over expectation, and they pair that with the league’s second-lowest PROE. I expect the Panthers to stay true to their run-heavy identity here, even though it didn’t yield much success in the previous matchup.

Michael Wilson OVER 4.5 Receptions

In games Marvin Harrison Jr. has missed this season (he sat out both Wednesday and Thursday), Michael Wilson has posted an outrageous average of 16 targets per game. He’s also put up a receiving line of roughly 12 catches for 148 yards without Marvin in the lineup. The matchup is about as tough as it gets, but the volume Wilson projects for makes a 4.5 reception line far too low. I expect Arizona to have trouble moving the ball against an elite defense, but they won’t abandon the pass. And if Wilson hasn’t already cleared the number by the fourth quarter, Houston will likely be in prevent mode, giving him easy underneath opportunities.

Dalton Kincaid OVER 3.5 Receptions

Kincaid returned from injury last week after a three-game absence and looked fully healthy, putting up a 4/41/1 line. In his earlier matchup with New England, he went off for six catches and 108 yards. The Patriots rank seventh in most receptions allowed to tight ends, and with this being a must-win game for Buffalo to keep their division hopes alive, I expect them to lean heavily on their top receiving option.

Rico Dowdle UNDER 2.5 Receptions

Dowdle ran only six routes in the game before the bye, and Dave Canales made it clear they plan to keep Chuba as the third-down and pass-catching back while using Dowdle as the early-down runner. I’m expecting a very run-heavy game plan overall, which naturally limits the number of routes available.

Brian Robinson Jr. Over 21.5 Rushing Yards

Brian Robinson

Jr. has hit this number in five straight games and has logged at least seven carries in four consecutive outings. As heavy home favorites against the Titans, there’s no reason to expect that usage to dip. Our projections have Robinson at 6 carries for 29 yards, and even that feels conservative.
