The Rundown: Week 10
Somehow, we have already reached Week 10, where fantasy trade deadlines begin to happen and the final chance for teams to make that fantasy playoff push. With Pat Mahomes returning and several others on the mend looking to make returns this week or next, health seems to be a key component for how the playoffs will shake out for fantasy players. But don't forget about those replacements, players who are stepping up with the injuries that have sidelined those original contributors. As always, the Thursday preview along with stats to know is already available and this will focus on the rest of the slate including start/sit recommendations.

Giants @ Jets
Spread: Jets +2.5 | Total: 43
Even with the return of Saquon Barkley, the Giants offense remains a mess. They have turned the ball over more than any other team and are still struggling to find a consistent receiving group. At least they play the Jets this week, a team that is bottom five in turnovers and only has scored over 20 points once this season. This could be a slow-moving game in New York.
New York Giants
Another week where the Giants have Saquon Barkley so they will look to run often. However, the Jets have done well overall against the run but they have given up a good number of rushing touchdowns so there is upside. The pass game will look to be efficient and conservative so be cautious.
Team Trends That Matter
- The Giants have had multiple turnovers in seven of nine games this year, the most in the league.
- Have not allowed a receiving touchdown to a running back this year.
- Seven quarterbacks have scored over 20 fantasy points against the Giants.
Fantasy Rating and a Stat to Know
- QB Daniel Jones (2) - Two straight games over 40 pass attempts, the first of his career
- RB Saquon Barkley (5) - 20-plus total touches in each of his last three games since a return from injury
- WR Golden Tate (3) - Six or more receptions in four straight games
- WR Darius Slayton (1) - Only one game over five targets this season
- TE Evan Engram (4) - Hasn’t had 50 receiving yards since Week 4
New York Jets
The Jets tried to get LeVeon Bell involved last week but it didn’t help. The team still doesn’t have a 100-yard rushing game. The best play would be to focus on the pass where the Giants have been weaker with Bell being a more versatile option. Sam Darnold could outplay his fantasy rating with a few big plays here.
Team Trends That Matter
- Have allowed over 20 fantasy points to the last two quarterbacks they have faced.
- 11 of 12 passing touchdowns allowed have gone to wide receivers.
- Ranks last with 22.8% third-down conversion rate.
Fantasy Rating and a Stat to Know
- QB Sam Darnold (2) - Only one of five games over 15 fantasy points
- RB LeVeon Bell (4) - Had his first 20 PPR point game since Week 2
- WR Robby Anderson (3) - Just 86 receiving yards in the last three games
- WR Jamison Crowder (3) - Only one game under five targets this year
- TE Ryan Griffin (1) - The TE2 over the past two weeks
