Braxton Miller

The Texans have put wide receiver Braxton Miller on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

Miller injured his right shoulder in Houston's Week 13 loss to the Green Bay Packers while attempting to catch a pass from quarterback Brock Osweiler. He had his arm in a sling in the locker room after the game and did not play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Texans promoted wide receiver Wendall Williams from the practice squad to take Miller's spot on the active roster.

Houston put wide receiver Jaelen Strong on injured reserve Saturday. The Texans now have three receivers on the active roster: Pro Bowl receiver DeAndre Hopkins, first-round pick Will Fuller and Keith Mumphery.
