Running back Andre Brown was given a package of plays in practice today but how the carries will be split among the team’s four running backs on Sunday against the Raiders has yet to be decided.

Brown, who suffered a second fracture of his left fibula in the final preseason game at New England, and veteran Brandon Jacobs practiced today, as did Peyton Hillis and rookie Michael Cox. Running back David Wilson’s injured neck was re-examined today, coach Tom Coughlin said.

“The coaches just told me to be ready,” said Brown, who averaged 5.3 yards per carry and scored eight touchdowns last season before suffered a fractured left fibula in a Nov. 25 game against Green Bay.

Fantasy Impact:

Brown said he will get a special package of plays and the team wants to ease him back into football shape. With Wilson not likely back this week, Brown could split time with Jacobs and Hillis, but the division of carries is anyone's guess. Brown's worth adding but is shaping up to be a risky play this week.
