Texans WR Tank Dell to return Week 7

Oct 19, 2026

Texans HC DeMeco Ryans announced that WR Tank Dell is going to play Sunday vs. the Giants.

Fantasy Impact:

It will be his first game since December 2024 when he suffered a brutal knee injury. At the very least, this should be a feel-good moment for Dell, but in terms of fantasy we'll need to see what kind of role he will play. The Texans are a bit loaded at WR after trading for Harrison, but there could be a role for him as an WR3 at some point.

Vikings open window for RB Jordan Mason

Vikings RB Jordan Mason has been designated for return. His practice window opens, though he’s still on IR.

Related players: Aaron Jones, DeeJay Dallas, Demond Claiborne

Fantasy Impact:

It could be a key return for the Vikings, but the 32-year-old Aaron Jones found the fountain of youth with Mason out and played well as the RB1. Jones probably wasn't going to survive getting nearly 20 carries a game, so Mason will mix back in nicely, most likely on early downs and in short yardage situations.

Commanders place RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin) on IR

Commanders placed RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt on injured reserve due to his groin injury.

Related players: Rachaad White, Austin Ekeler, Jeremy McNichols

Fantasy Impact:

The team just activated McNichols off IR so he could jump right back into being a passing down back. But look for White to carry the load with a mix of Ekeler as well. No one is a strong fantasy play in this backfield - until we see otherwise.

Packers unsure if RB Josh Jacobs will play Week 7

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Josh Jacobs will practice on Wednesday and get a full week of work but TBD on whether he'll play on Sunday at Detroit.

"We feel like he's in a pretty good spot. He's been training, but he's missed the exposure to football."

Fantasy Impact:

It's hard to imagine Jacobs not playing, assuming everything goes right this week at practice. The Packers run game has been a mess and the hope would be Jacobs brings some production with him, even if he's limited for his first game back. This will be a situation worth monitoring this week.
