Bengals don't plan to sit QB Joe Burrow

The Bengals have no path to the playoffs, but that isn’t changing their plan at the quarterback position.

Head coach Zac Taylor said at a Monday press conference that he expects Joe Burrow to remain the team’s starter for the final three games on their schedule.

Fantasy Impact:

Taylor said the team simply just wants to win their remaining games. Burrow missed nine games this season with a toe injury. Burrow and the Bengals were shutout against the Ravens this past week however.

The Dallas Cowboys are signing running back Tyler Goodson off the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad to their 53-man roster, according to a league source.

Goodson, a 25-year-old former Iowa standout who has also played for the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts, joins the Cowboys after Malik Davis' season-ending hip injury suffered in practice that required surgery, the story pointed out. Both Demercado and Goodson now sit behind Williams in the RB pecking order. It will be worth monitoring over the next couple of weeks to see who emerges as the RB2, especially for Williams owners looking for a handcuff.

Browns RB Dylan Sampson is expected to miss significant time due to the knee injury suffered Sunday in Jacksonville, per sources.

Sampson was spotted on crutches after the game.

Sampson was supposed to see some time in the passing game and get work behind Judkins. It's not an insignificant loss, but the Browns offense didn't look good in Week 1 so it would have been hard to trust Sampson even in the deepest of fantasy leagues. It looks like Sanders could move up to the RB2 role, and the team also just signed McLaughlin to the active roster, but again, the Browns are risky for fantasy lineups until we see more.
