Jaguars WR Travis Hunter played more on defense in Week 3

In the first two weeks of the season, Jaguars No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter played more offensive snaps than defensive snaps.

That trend flipped in Jacksonville’s Week 3 victory over Houston.

Hunter was on the field for 37 offensive snaps (53 percent) and 43 defensive snaps (68 percent).

Fantasy Impact:

He’s now played 59 percent of Jacksonville’s offensive snaps this year and 47 percent of defensive snaps, plus four percent of special teams snaps, the story said. But the more concerning news is his usage. He had one pass for 21 yards on two targets in Week 3. He had eight targets in Week 2. Hunter has 10 receptions for 76 yards, with only two of his catches resulting in first downs this season. He's now a huge question mark for fantasy lineups heading into Week 4.

Carson Wentz to start for Vikings in Dublin in Week 4

Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell confirmed Carson Wentz will get another start for the team next week when the team meets the Steelers in Dublin, Ireland.

Fantasy Impact:

This was expected after Wentz had a solid day against the Bengals, going 14/20 for 173 yards and two touchdowns in Minnesota’s 48-10 victory. J.J. McCarthy is out 2-4 weeks with a right high ankle sprain. With Wentz able to hold the fort in Week 3, he’ll lead the charge as the Vikings make their trek through Europe over the next two weeks, facing the Steelers in Dublin in Week 4 and then meeting the Browns in London in Week 5 before their Week 6 bye.

CeeDee Lamb ruled out with ankle injury

The Cowboys ruled out WR CeeDee Lamb with an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Lamb had left the game earlier in the day and come back before leaving again. Lamb was initially hurt on a rushing attempt early in the game and had his leg rolled up on. Lamb did not record a catch.

James Conner carted off field with ankle injury

Cardinals RB James Conner was carted off the field following an ankle injury during the third quarter against the 49ers.

Fantasy Impact:

The fact that both teams came out onto the field in support of Conner as well as the broadcast not initially showing a replay (RedZone did later show a replay) may tell you all you need to know about the situation. Conner had nine rushes for 22 yards and 15 yards on three catches. Look for 2024 third-round pick Trey Benson, who was already getting more work, to step into the lead role.
