Lions RB Ty Johnson cleared concussion protocol and will play Sunday against the Cowboys.

Fantasy Impact:

Good for the Lions who could use a boost on offense with Matthew Stafford missing another game and the Lions facing a good Cowboys defense. Johnson does still have some flex appeal but expectations should still be somewhat tempered with Jeff Driskel in again at quarterback.

Browns plan to sign free agent running back Royce Freeman to the practice squad.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman did pretty well when he saw action with the Rams toward the end of last season. He was with Dallas this summer where he drew some hype, and for about a week the team had us convinced he may see significant action for the Cowboys. However, he was eventually released.

Packers place RB MarShawn Lloyd on IR

Packers are placing rookie RB MarShawn Lloyd on injured reserve due to an ankle injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Lloyd dealt with a hamstring injury leading up to the season and has now injured his ankle enough to be placed on IR, and he'll miss the next four games. The team did sign Brooks from their practice squad but Wilson looks to be the backup to Jacobs.
