Texans releasing JJ Watt

DL Nnamdi Madubuike (neck), ILB Teddye Buchanan (knee) and CB T.J. Tampa (knee) are out for Sunday’s game against Saints. WR Zay Flowers (hamstring) also not expected to play. He’s doubtful.

Flowers should be removed from tentative lineups unless Baltimore unexpectedly clears him Sunday. Bateman becomes the likely No. 1 receiver, while Andrews could lead the team in targets. Walker, Wester, Moore and Sarratt should divide the remaining receiver reps, leaving them as speculative options rather than confident starts.

Raiders are listing TE Brock Bowers as doubtful for Sunday’s game vs. the Chargers due to his knee injury, per HC Klint Kubiak.

Fantasy managers should prepare to be without Bowers despite his limited return. Mayer is a viable replacement at a thin position and should again handle the majority of Las Vegas’ tight end work. Tucker, Nailor and Jeanty also have paths to additional targets.

Kyler Murray has been ruled out against Chicago after failing to clear the concussion protocol. Carson Wentz will start, with J.J. McCarthy serving as Minnesota’s backup.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell expects Murray to clear the protocol next week.

Wentz is an emergency Superflex option in a road matchup against Chicago. His presence lowers the ceiling of Minnesota’s passing game, but Jefferson remains a must-start WR1.
