Maybe the Chubb signing was a little more necessary than we thought at first? Schefter followed this tweet up with the idea that he is "expected to be OK fairly soon", so we'll keep an eye on the matter. Mixon should continue to be regarded as a fantasy RB2 as it stands, with Chubb more of a contingency bet as an RB4/5.

Russell Wilson is the clear cut starter for the Giants.

"These guys will be out here competing but Russ is our starter," Brian Daboll said.

A competition for a prize that's already been awarded.

This clears things up from a Wilson vs. Dart perspective for Week 1, but that certainly doesn't mean that it will last the entire season. The betting market currently has the Giants at 5.5 wins, so nothing is locked in stone here, including the jobs of the coaching staff. Both quarterbacks can be avoided in most league types.

This is great news for Nabers, who has rightfully been pushed all the way into the first round of fantasy drafts. There's a not-unreasonable chance that he leads the league in target share with an incredibly thin depth chart behind him.

Report: Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin had second ankle surgery

Multiple sources tell ESPN that Chris Godwin underwent a second procedure on his ankle this spring, shedding further light on his rehab from a dislocated ankle last season.

Fantasy Impact:

Laine reports the second procedure wasn't a surprise and was a clean-up procedure. It remains to be seen how much the second surgery - if at all - sets Godwin back. He wasn't expected to be a full-go in camp until closer to the season. There will likely be many updates on Godwin was we progress through camp. If he remains on PUP to start the season, he'll of course miss the first four games, which will open the door for either Egbuka or McMillan to carve out a role going forward.
