Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (leg) hospitalized

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett was taken to the hospital for evaluation after sustaining a “really bad” lower leg contusion in the latter stages of Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Related players: DK Metcalf, Josh Gordon

Fantasy Impact:

HC Pete Carroll said Lockett should be OK and the team is ahead of the situation, but obviously a scary event that goes beyond fantasy. The story said there is possible severe swelling of a muscle that could lead to cut off blood flow and effect nerve and muscle cells. The team has a bye this week and then plays next on Sunday night in Philly in Week 12, so owners may need to work on a backup plan. Metcalf and Gordon will be the team's top receivers if Lockett can't go.
