Ryan Fitzpatrick to start at QB for Buccaneers

Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter says Ryan Fitzpatrick is the planned starter at quarterback to open the season.

Fantasy Impact:

With Jameis Winston suspended for the first three games of the season, it will be Fitzpatrick who opens the year as the starting quarterback. It would take a mammoth effort by Ryan Griffin to usurp him at this point.

Cardinals TE Trey McBride was downgraded Saturday to questionable for Sunday’s game against the 49ers with an injury to his ribs.

Fantasy Impact:

McBride missed Week 4 with a concussion and had just came back from the concussion protocol. Elijah Higgins has three targets and just two catches in the 42-14 Week 4 loss to Washington.

Evan Engram (hamstring) looking unlikely to play in Week 5

Engram continues to recover from the hamstring injury he suffered during pre-game warmup in Week 2. It will be another start for Brenton Strange, who has under 20 years in two of his three games started.

Packers suspend Romeo Doubs one game

The Packers suspended WR Romeo Doubs one game for conduct detrimental to the team.

Fantasy Impact:

Doubs missed two practices this week after he was reportedly upset with his role in the offense. Doubs has 12 catches (on 20 targets) for 169 yards. Jaylen Reed has emerged as the WR1 in Green Bay. The Packers will also likely be without Christian Watson, who is doubtful with a high ankle sprain. Reed and Dontayvion Wicks, who are tied for the team lead with 22 targets each, will lead the charge against the Rams.
