Raiders WR Amari Cooper: 'ball will find me'

“I like to play well so, hopefully, in this next game, I’ll have a few catches and kind of get back on [track]," Cooper said to reporters on Wednesday. He later, in a more serious tone, said the "ball will find me" when asked if he needed to remind offensive coordinator Todd Downing and QBs Derek Carr and EJ Manuel of his presence on the field.

Fantasy Impact:

Cooper fantasy owners sure do hope the ball will find the hands of the Raiders WR more often than it has the past the past three weeks. After combing to catch 9 passes for 95 yards and a touchdown in the first two weeks, Cooper has totaled 4 catches for 23 yards and 0 scores the past three weeks. He has not recorded more than 9 yards receiving in any of his past three games. In what our aFPA metrics consider a good matchup versus the Chargers this week, we have Cooper ranked as a top-30 WR in both standard and PPR leagues. A returning Derek Carr would improve his outlook.
