Josh Jacobs’ initial court appearance moved up to Sept. 10

ESPN’s Ben Solak expects Hunter to spend considerably more time at cornerback this season.

Jacksonville has Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas Jr. available at wide receiver, while its defense lacks a true No. 1 cornerback. Solak believes Hunter will consequently be used primarily on defense, with his offensive value potentially coming as a high-upside replacement if one of the Jaguars’ three established receivers is injured.

Fantasy Impact: A defense-heavy assignment would leave Hunter without the route volume necessary for dependable redraft production. His offensive talent gives him considerable contingent upside, but he presently looks more like a real-life luxury reserve than a legit fantasy option. Our ranking already accounts for that risk, placing him 32 spots below market ADP.

ESPN’s Ben Solak considers Wicks the clear No. 2 wide receiver in Philadelphia following A.J. Brown’s departure.

Wicks never climbed higher than fourth on Green Bay’s depth chart, but Solak believes he now has an opportunity to provide the consistent veteran presence the Eagles lost this offseason.

Solak’s characterization is notable because it differs significantly from our current ordering of Philadelphia’s receivers. Wicks has never commanded a substantial NFL role, but being the clear second receiver would give him far more sleeper appeal than his current ranking suggests. Because this is Solak’s assessment rather than a role confirmed by the Eagles, Week 1 usage will matter before making a substantial adjustment. Lemon's role in the offense may end up taking a little while to flesh out.

The Athletic’s Andrew Destin anticipates that Price will be featured primarily on first and second downs to begin the season. George Holani is projected to handle third downs, pass-protection assignments, short-yardage situations and much of the goal-line work, with Emanuel Wilson occasionally mixing in.

Price should receive the largest share of Seattle’s rushing opportunities while Zach Charbonnet remains on the PUP list recovering from January’s torn ACL. Once Charbonnet returns, Destin expects him to pair with Price while Holani moves back into a third-string role.

Price appears positioned to lead Seattle in carries, but Destin’s anticipated distribution would leave him without a true three-down role and potentially without many of the backfield’s most valuable touches.

Ceding passing-down, short-yardage, and goal-line work to Holani would make Price more reliant on rushing volume and explosive plays, limiting his early-season ceiling despite Charbonnet’s absence. Holani consequently carries some deep-league and touchdown-dependent value during the opening month. Price’s ranking is already eight spots ahead of market ADP, so this alone does not demand a change, but confirmation of Holani as the primary goal-line back would be worth monitoring.
