According to Ian Rapoport on Twitter, San Fransico 49ers tight end Jordan Reed will be active for Thursday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers.
Fantasy Impact:
This is huge news for a 49ers team that will be without all three of their starters at wide receiver. We can expect to see San Francisco make heavy use of two tight end sets, with Richie James and Trent Taylor at wide receiver. Reed is unlikely to dominate the tight end snaps and may be held under 70 percent despite sharing the field with Ross Dwelley. Still, Reed will be the team's top receiving threat and could break loose for a couple of long gains. His upside makes him worth a start.
