49ers TE Jordan Reed will miss 6-8 weeks with a sprained MCL, according to Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Reed was injured on a low hit during their win against the New York Giants. Reed was placed on Injured Reserve.
SF TE Ross Dwelley - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 10 at New Orleans Saints
Ross Dwelley caught all three balls thrown his way last week and ended up with 52 yards against the Packers. He has upside this week against a Saints defense that ranks 19th in aFPA to opposing tight ends, but it’s hard to get too excited about anyone in this offense. Plus, he’ll likely share snaps and targets with Jordan Reed, who will now be two weeks back from injury. Dwelley has some upside in very deep leagues as a desperation start, but in most formats, he should remain on waivers, at least while Reed is healthy.
