Fantasy Impact:

Hall is dealing with a thigh injury and we're not sure how to take this update. Hall did not return to a close game in Week 3 against the Lions, so we can only assume he's in danger of missing some time. Hall owners, if they haven't already, will need to be aggressive and get Allen off your wire if at all possible. He'll likely be a highly-sought addition to fantasy teams this week if he's available. The Jets play the Bears in Week 4 in the early window of games, so owners will at least have plenty of notice about Hall's availability leading up to games.

Seahawks: RB Jadarian Price will be 'fine' after another fumble

Seattle Seahawks first-round rookie Jadarian Price has a fumble problem. In just three games, Price has already fumbled twice and lost both of them.

“I think it’s as a team, if we turn the ball over, it’s not good business,” Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said postgame. “I know he didn’t come back after the initial fumble; we just decided to calm it down and bring him back after the half. But he’s going to be fine. He’s going to figure it out; he’ll be fine.”

The latest fumble came in Week 3 against the Commanders and as a result fantasy owners didn't see Price again until the second half. Even then, he was mixing in with Holani and Wilson, and while Wilson led the way for the backs, the good news is no one was really impressive. However, the timing for Price isn't great as the story said Charbonnet is expected to return to practice next week. And with no back really getting it done, it could open to the door for Charbonnet. Fantasy owners will have a tough decision to make in Week 4. Price will be a risky play to say the least. It sounds like the team still has confidence in him, but they don't necessarily have another option either.

Commanders resign RB Austin Ekeler

The Commanders are expected to sign FA RB Austin Ekeler to their 53-man roster pending physical, sources tell me and Mike Garafolo.

Ekeler is healed from an Achilles tear and worked out for the Panthers last week, the post added. As Pro Football Talk added, the move to bring Ekeler back comes after White suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday’s win over the Seahawks. Croskey-Merritt and Allen are the team's other backs. Croskey-Merritt had 19 carries for just 36 yards in a tough matchup against the Seahawks, while Allen wasn't active, so the Commanders are looking for some kind of spark in the running game. Ekeler will likely need some time to get up to speed but coming back to the Commanders should make that a quick transition. It never hurts to pick up a running back off the wire in your fantasy league who doesn't seem to have a difficult path to fantasy relevance, and from the outside that seems to be the case with Ekeler. He is 31 coming off an Achilles tear, however, and most likely will be used more in the passing game once he gets ramped up.

Baker Mayfield suffers dislocated thumb vs Vikings

Buccaneers HC Todd Bowles announced that QB Baker Mayfield suffered a dislocated right thumb during Sunday's game against the Vikings.

Fantasy Impact:

Mayfield left the game in the fourth quarter. He will undergo an MRI Monday but he is expected to miss some time as a result. He threw for 217 yards, one touchdown and one interception before exiting. Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels would be in line to start while Mayfield is out. 0-3 Tampa hosts 1-2 Green Bay next week.
