Andrew Thomas (foot) won't practice Wednesday. That is part of the plan, per Brian Daboll. He will practice Thursday and Friday.

Malik Nabers (back) will be limited.

Dexter Lawrence will not be at practice Wednesday. His wife had their first child this week.

Fantasy Impact:

Nabers had some limited practices last week and still earned 12 targets in the game, so we shouldn't be too worried here. Keep considering him a WR1 unless something changes.

49ers officially are signing veteran kicker Eddy Pineiro to their active roster on a one-year deal, per his agents Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey.

Fantasy Impact:

The Niners worked out Pineiro and he's now the official replacement for Moody. Pineiro could be on the fantasy radar this season assuming he sticks with the team. San Francisco is banged up at the moment, but could be a high-scoring team once they get back to full strength.

Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels appeared on Monday’s injury report with a right wrist issue, but there’s no concern about his availability for Thursday’s game against the Packers.

Head coach Dan Quinn said at his Tuesday press conference that the team has “zero concerns” about Daniels’ health.

Fantasy Impact:

The story went on to say Quinn explained that listing Daniels as a full participant on the estimated practice report was simply about transparency, and that the rookie is on track to play without restrictions. Daniels played every snap in the Week 1 win over the Giants, going 19-of-30 for 233 yards and a touchdown while adding 68 rushing yards on 11 carries.

Moody had a rough 2024 season and many speculated he wouldn't even get a chance in 2025. In Week 1 he missed a kick and had another blocked and the Niners have seen enough. They will make a move for another kicker this week ahead of Week 2.
