Denver RB Correll Buckhalter Okay After Trip To Hospital

As a precaution, Broncos running back Correll Buckhalter was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he has already been treated and released, according to an NFL source. Buckhalter has an upper-back pull, after doctors checked his neck, back and spine.

He suffered the injury during the Broncos’ first training camp practice Sunday morning, a few minutes after starting tailback Knowshon Moreno was carted off the field with a serious right hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Needless to say, it has not been a good day for the Denver Broncos. Buckhalter's injury looks to be minor in comparison to Moreno's, and once he's back on the field, Uncle Buck will likely be Denver's number one running back for as long as Moreno is out.
