Danny Amendola may have a broken collarbone

Rams quarterback Sam Bradford lost his favorite target, wide receiver Danny Amendola, midway through the second quarter, after Amendola landed on his shoulder while diving for a pass. The Rams fear Amendola suffered a broken collarbone and he could face a long-term absence, a team source told CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. The extent of the injury will be known Monday, the source said.

@ProFootballTalk also Tweeted: Rams WR Danny Amendola has broken collarbone, per team source.

Update: ESPN is reporting that Amendola may have avoided a broken collarbone and that he may return this season. Stay tuned.

Fantasy Impact:

This is obviously a tough loss for the Rams who are already very thin on talent at the WR position. Rookie Chris Givens led the team's WRs in snaps (45), with Brandon Gibson (36), Austin Pettis (19), Amendola (17) and Brian Quick (12) rounding the unit out. Gibson figures to be the most logical pickup of the group, though Givens's snaps were no fluke. He played more than Gibson in Week 4 as well, and has caught a 50+ yard pass in each of the last two games. He caught a 51-yard TD on Thursday night.
