Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (hamstring) expected to practice Wednesday

Dan Quinn said Jayden Daniels had a good rehab session on Sunday and he's expected to practice tomorrow.

Fantasy Impact:

It's good news for both the Commanders and fantasy owners. The only setback is the Commanders play the Seahawks on Monday night. Hopefully we'll have a more solid feel for Daniels status before we get to the Sunday games, but so far the outlook seems to be pretty positive as far as Daniels playing in Week 9.

Adam Schefter thinks the Saints could move one of their WRs, and specifically named Rashid Shaheed.

Fantasy Impact:

The Steelers, Bills and Broncos look to be in the market for a WR and have made calls to other teams, according to Schefter. Shaheed is on the last year of his deal and so Schefter sees him as a guy teams are more interested in.

Chiefs RB Isaiah Pacheco dealing with MCL sprain

Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco, who left Monday night’s win with a knee injury, is considered week-to-week with an MCL sprain, per sources.

Fantasy Impact:

The week to week tag suggest Pacheco could at least miss Week 9, which is a showdown against the Bills. Keep in mind, the Chiefs have a bye in Week 10. Hunt should get his normal workload but Smith could be an interesting add as he seems to be trending up, especially in the passing game, and it could result in more touches overall if Pacheco is out.

Saints go with Tyler Shough at QB

The future is now in New Orleans, with the Saints making rookie QB Tyler Shough their starter.

Spencer Rattler now heads to the bench, while the second-rounder moves to the forefront in a decision coach Kellen Moore informed them of today.

Fantasy Impact:

The stats say Shough was worse than Rattler last week against the Bucs after taking over, but the Saints are making the switch. With the Saints not going anywhere, it makes sense for the team to see what they have with their second round pick from this past spring. Reports out of camp from spring and summer from some who follow the team said the competition wasn't really close, and Rattler was the better option. Now the question becomes how does this decision affect some of the other weapons on the team. It's probably at least a slight downgrade until we see otherwise.
