49ers RB Tevin Coleman suffered an ankle sprain in yesterday’s win over the Bucs, source said, an injury that is expected to force him to miss time.
Coleman’s having tests today (in Youngstown, OH, where the team is staying) to determine the nature of the sprain, Rapoport added. No timetable was given. This shouldn't be a shock to owners who probably saw this news coming last night. Breida, Mostert and Wilson will now take over in the backfield. Breida is the presumed starter but keep an eye on Mostert who had a nice day after Coleman left the game in Week 1. Wilson is expected to be promoted.
