Perfect Fantasy Football Draft: 6th in a 12-Team ESPN PPR League

If you’re reading this, you’re likely sitting in the middle of your league’s draft order and wondering how to make the most of it. The good news is there’s plenty of value in every round, and the spacing between picks gives you time to weigh your options without feeling rushed.
In this article, I will walk through my favorite players in each round that should be available to me based on ESPN ADP via 4for4's Multi-Site ADP tool with a discussion on strategy from the 6th spot.
The 4for4 staff uses the Draft Hero software for all of our leagues. Draft Hero syncs directly to your league and optimizes each pick using projections and value-based rankings from 4for4. Draft Hero lets you customize your draft experience with settings on which rounds you want to draft a position, how many players you want at each position, and players to target or avoid.

My Plan of Attack from the 6th Position
Roster Settings: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex (WR/RB/TE), 1 Kicker, 1 DEF, 7 bench spots
First and foremost, stay flexible during fantasy drafts, as any number of things can happen. Here are my three tips and approaches that may help you:
Target wide receivers early and often: With ESPN’s default PPR scoring, a zero-RB approach is often favorable though not required. I’m aiming for three to four wide receivers in the first five rounds, knowing there are viable RB options available later.
Prioritize rookies and ascending players: ADP often reflects past production, not future potential. I’m looking for players in favorable situations with minimal competition for touches who can outperform their draft slot particularly in the middle and late rounds.
Build smart stacks: I prefer not to rush into drafting a QB, but I like pairing quarterbacks and receivers from projected top-10 offenses. If QB isn’t an early priority, it means finding hidden gems in later rounds to complete the stack.
