12 Fantasy Football Players with Easy Early-Season Schedules in 2025

At 4for4, we go beyond basic strength-of-schedule analysis by using our signature metric, schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA). This removes schedule bias and puts every matchup on an even playing field, allowing for true apples-to-apples comparisons.

When you’re drafting, especially in the middle-to-late rounds, choosing between similar players can be tricky. This list highlights those with favorable early-season schedules so you can stack points right away, while leaving out the prominent high-end stars to focus on the tougher decisions.

Quarterbacks

Brock Purdy, 49ers (Multi-Site ADP: 8.07)

The storyline surrounding the ease of the 49ers’ 2025 strength of schedule has been a throughline throughout much of the offseason, and that goes for their fantasy positions as well. Brock Purdy, for instance, won’t face a defense that finished in the top-10 in QB aFPA until Week 9 (Giants) and sees three of the softest defensive matchups possible in the first seven weeks.

Though Deebo Samuel was shipped out of town back in March and Brandon Aiyuk is slated to miss around six games this season, the 49ers have still done a good job of insulating their former seventh-round selection with talent. Jauan Jennings stepped up when called on last season, Ricky Pearsall is an exciting receiver with his first real preseason under his belt, George Kittle remains an elite tight end, and if anyone can come back from a frustrating injury-laden season, it’s Christian McCaffrey.

Purdy has already put up two top-10 finishes in FPPG through two more difficult season-long slates of opponents, so there aren’t a lot of reasons to doubt he can do it again.
