Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Week 6: Minshew Mania Runs Wild

Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Week 6

Last week got wacky right out of the gate, as quarterback Justin Fields and wide receiver D.J. Moore set the pace for all fantasy pieces to follow in the week’s opening game. Fellow rushing quarterbacks Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts proved that they wouldn’t be too far behind, and those three options now rank as QB1, QB2, and QB3 on the year, as traditional pocket passers have fallen back towards the middle grounds in fantasy football, as has been the case for the last handful of years.

For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.

To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 5 Recap

It certainly could have been a better week, but it’s always nice to land a top-10 option when you’re focused on streaming the onesie positions, and our cover boy, Sam Howell, delivered for us once again. In a Thursday night matchup filled with fantasy goodness, Howell threw the rock for 388 yards. Don’t be surprised if you happen to see his name pop up again further down this piece.
