Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 2: Hunter Henry Solidifies Role
As expected, Week 1 was an absolute whirlwind, with many games and performances that we never could have predicted in the long months of prognostication that led up to it. That didn’t preclude the tight end position, which saw the top two projected performers find the bench before their team even snapped the ball. This makes streaming the position all the more important, and if you were able to react, there were plenty of options on the waiver wire to avoid that dreaded goose egg.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 1 Recap
Our initial results for the year are conflicting, to say the least. While we hit the overall TE1 and added a TE10 in the first waiver wire piece of the 2023 NFL season, we also saw the worst. Jake Ferguson turned in 2.1 half-PPR points on seven targets, Taysom Hill hardly saw the field, and Tyler Conklin’s quarterback left the game (and likely the season) only four snaps in. Onwards and upwards.
