Fantasy Football Tight End Streaming Week 14: Greg Dulcich's Opportunities Increase
It’s hard to restructure your brain after playing in the same fantasy calendar for two decades, but we have one more regular season week of action before we head into the opening round of the playoffs. The schedule-makers didn’t make it easy on us either, as six final teams have their bye week, constricting our options for streaming. No fear, though; with plenty of positive-on-paper matchups this week, we should be able to grab someone who can contribute in the short term and, possibly, the long term.
For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.
To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.
Week 13 Review
Another week of backup tight ends finding the end zone crushed the dreams of TE streamers worldwide, with MyCole Pruitt, Chigoziem Okonkwo, Brevin Jordan, and Cam Heyward’s little brother amongst the options to lead the position. Only five options hit double-digit fantasy points, which is depressingly turning into a weekly occurrence, but we did graduate two options (Foster Moreau and Evan Engram) into the non-streamable territory, which should help shake things up heading into Week 14.
