Tight End Streaming Week 10

As we trudge through the most difficult month of the season regarding teams-on-byes, it becomes ever-more important to pay attention to who we should be streaming, and we’re here to help. With nine full weeks’ worth of information at our disposal, the true crux of the streaming method has molded into shape. Now with a great understanding of how teams will look to employ the tight ends in the receiving game, we can avert our eyes to the waiver wire to find some looked-over players who could benefit our fantasy teams in the short term and, possibly, the long term.

For streaming purposes, 4for4’s Schedule-Adjusted Fantasy Points Allowed (aFPA) is a metric we rely heavily on to determine weekly matchup strength. As the season progresses and more data is available, aFPA becomes more and more reliable, using rolling 10-week data. Targets and efficiency metrics are also considered when choosing weekly streamers.

To provide the advice you can implement, candidates for streaming must be rostered in no more than 40% of Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

Week 9 Review

Touchdowns are king at the tight end position, and we scored enough of them in Week 9 to support a number of fantasy-viable options. Conklin continued his boom-or-bust season by only notching two targets in the Jets’ win on Sunday but Cade Otton and Cole Kmet proved to be integral parts of their offense, while Likely found the end zone on his only reception Monday night. On to Week 10.
