GPP Stacks, Fades and Leverage Plays: Week 6

This is the first week we have bye weeks and we have a bonus with the London game to make this slate just 10 games. As the bye weeks continue, we will most likely get higher ownership percentages for the top plays on the slate which will create ways to gain huge leverage. Last week was one of the highest-scoring weeks this season for DFS, and the two chalky options did their parts. This week we have many ways to get unique with the injuries, COVID protocols, and matchups.

Throughout the week, I have noticed some stats that are noteworthy. For example, the Bears haven't had a QB score over 10 fantasy points, but should break that trend this week against Green Bay. The Packers have given up a touchdown on a 20+ yard throw every week this year, and since Justin Fields has taken over, Cole Kmet leads them in deep targets.

The Lions give up over 100 yards passing per game on throws 20+ yards down the field. Ja'Marr Chase has 20 targets over 10 yards down the field.

Finally, you have the Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Football Team, who lead the NFL in games where they have given up 25 fantasy points to the quarterback position. The Chiefs have allowed Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, and Justin Herbert to score over 25 points, while the Football Team had Josh Allen, Daniel Jones, Matt Ryan, and Jameis Winston hit the mark.

For my GPP article this week, you have the player pools that I am using between each site and game stacks, mini stacks, and some one-offs. The player pool is designed to simplify lineup builds. I will mention Z-Score quite a bit and if you don't know what Z-Score is, check out the preseason article I wrote by clicking here.

The three tools I am using the most when considering building my lineups are the Cumulative Ownership Projections, DFS Correlation Tool, and the Stack Value Report at 4for4.

If you haven't checked out the DFS Playbook, please do so because it will guide you on how to approach each position, and you can align that with some of the plays you will read below.
