Primetime DFS Slate Breakdown: Week 5

The Week 5 Prime-time slate is an interesting one. There is a game with an over/under of 52.5 points and the other sits at 45.5. There are some great spots to leverage the field since we can predict such high ownership to come from one game, so let's get to it.

Passing Games

Houston

Perhaps the most exciting thing about the Texans in Week 4 was the debut of the speedy rookie Key'vantanie Coutee ($5,500 FD/$4,800 DK) who is really eating more into Lamar Miller's workload more than DeAndre Hopkins' ($8,900 FD/$7,800 DK) or Will Fuller's ($7,900 FD/$6,400 DK). Coutee saw 15 targets in Fuller's absence last week but six of those 15 came from behind the line of scrimmage. Dallas ranks 17th in aFPA to the quarterback position and with Houston being a 3-point home favorite and having an implied team total of 24.5 points, Deshaun Watson ($8,000 FD/$6,300 DK) has great touchdown equity in this contest. Dallas has done a great job at limiting long plays to wide receivers, ranking third in fewest plays of 20 yards allowed to opposing teams wideouts. Hopkins is still very much in play, though, from a pure volume standpoint as he has seen no less than 10 targets in any game so far this year. If you are looking for a reason to shy away form this team, it should be because of the pace of play. So far through four weeks, Dallas ranks third in plays ran per game. Dallas does rank 24th in aFPA to tight ends, but Ryan Griffin ($4,200 FD/$2,500 DK) is extremely inconsistent seeing 5, 1, 4, and 1 targets in his last four games, respectively.
