According to Staley, wide receiver Mike Williams, safety Nasir Adderley and cornerback Chris Harris Jr. will miss the pivotal game due to being on the reserve/COVID-19 list, per Fernando Ramirez of SI.
Williams was added to the list on Christmas, and due to the 10-day quarantine rule for unvaccinated players, he will miss Sunday. The NFL recently updated their protocols so that vaccinated players could "test out" of protocols more quickly. Since Adderley and Harris have already been ruled out, it would appear they are unvaccinated as well, according to the story. It's possible Guyton could test out and return. Moore caught three passes for 56 yards in Week 16.
LAC WR Josh Palmer - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 17 vs. Broncos
In Week 16, Josh Palmer saw six targets and reeled in five of them for 43 yards and a touchdown. It was the second time in three games Palmer has posted five catches and found the endzone. His deeds earned him 12.8 Half PPR points last week.
If Mike Williams is unable to play in Week 17, Palmer should continue to see an increased role alongside Keenan Allen at wide receiver. But expecting him to be a fantasy gem in Week 17 seems like a stretch, given the opponent. The Broncos ranked 5th in aFPA to wide receivers this season. If you need a mid-to-late tier WR3 this week, you might be interested in Palmer. But if you're after more, then you might be left wanting.
