Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy carted off practice with apparent hamstring injury

Ian Rapoport

Aug 24, 2023 · 1:53 PM EDT

One to watch heading into the season: Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy is being carted off at practice with an apparent hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact:

Early prognosticators believe the best-case scenario would leave Jeudy out for Week 1, while something more severe could immediately land him on the PUP. It seems like even moderate timetables put him at a six-week recovery from today, so it would seem that he is going to be missing some game time regardless, unless we see an additional report about a mistaken diagnosis. Conservatively, we should be ignoring Jeudy at his ADP and push him far down draft boards until we hear otherwise.

Broncos pick up WR Jerry Jeudy's fifth-year option

Ian Rapoport

May 01, 2023 · 11:43 AM EDT

The Broncos are picking up the fifth-year option on WR Jerry Jeudy, locking him in for 2024. No surprise, they had plenty of interest from teams wanting to trade for him, but Jeudy is a big part of their future.

Related Players: Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick, Marvin Mims

Fantasy Impact:

"Plenty of interest" seems like quite the stretch, considering the rumors that the team was shopping both Jeudy and Courtland Sutton for months now. The team also spent a second-round pick on Marvin Mims. A fading Russell Wilson needs all the help he can get, but this could possibly point toward a future trade involving Sutton.

As it stands, Jeudy finds himself somewhere in the WR3 range for fantasy.

Broncos WR K.J. Hamler suffered a partially torn pec

Tom Pelissero

Mar 23, 2023 · 1:14 PM EDT

Broncos WR K.J. Hamler recently underwent surgery after suffering a partially torn pec while training on his own. The recovery timeline is four to six months, giving Hamler a chance to be ready right around the start of training camp in late July.

Related Players: Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, Tim Patrick

Fantasy Impact:

Hamler was limited to just six games in 2022 while recovering from a knee injury and dealing with hamstring issues. You hate to see another injury setback to the 23-year-old but we'll see how this influences his future with the Denver Broncos.

'Not looking good' for Broncos WR Courtland Sutton (hamstring) in Week 14

Jeff Legwold on Twitter

Dec 07, 2022 · 2:41 PM EST

On WR Courtland Sutton’s hamstring injury Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett said today “it’s not looking good right now” for Sutton to play Sunday against the Chiefs.

Related players: Jerry Jeudy, Greg Dulcich

Fantasy Impact:

Jeudy should serve as the team's top WR target, but obviously he's not an attractive play given the struggles of the Broncos offense this season. Dulcich could also get a bump in targets and, as we reported Tuesday, he's been working more as a WR as of late.
