Cowboys RB Malik Davis expected to miss time with “pretty serious” hip injury

Nick Eatman

Sep 11 · 5:46 PM EDT

Cowboys chief operating officer Stephen Jones said on 105.3 "The Fan" on Friday that Davis had a "pretty serious" injury and could be out for a while.

"Unfortunately, I think he's looking at a pretty serious injury that could take him out for some period of time," Jones said. "We don't have the final details, we'll know more, but certainly so disappointed for Malik. Obviously tough for our team, but like anything it's next man up."

Fantasy Impact:

Williams loses the primary threat to his workload and could now handle more passing-down and change-of-pace work in addition to his established early-down role. Demercado becomes the immediate backup and a deep-league contingency stash, while Abanikanda will likely be elevated for Sunday. Davis can be dropped in most redraft leagues while the Cowboys determine the full extent of his injury.

Packers RB Josh Jacobs knee said to be structurally sound

Ian Rapoport on X

Nov 17, 2025 · 12:38 PM EST

Packers standout RB Josh Jacobs’ knee is structurally sound.

Fantasy Impact:

Good news for the Packers and Jacobs' fantasy owners. Rapoport went on to say Jacobs is considered day to day, and that tag gives him a shot to suit up in Week 12. But, Rapoport added in his post Jacobs could end up missing Week 12's game against the Vikings. The good news is no surgery is needed. We'll keep an eye on the injury report this week, but the Vikings-Packers game is an early Sunday game which should give owners time to adjust lineups if he's a game-time call. Wilson should get a bulk of the workload if Jacobs can't play. Brooks has seen limited time this season while Lloyd has been questionable to play that past three weeks with a hamstring injury, but has yet to play and see a snap this season.

Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd misses Tuesday practice after leaving field on Monday

Matt Schneidman

Jul 29, 2025 · 12:44 PM EDT

Dontayvion Wicks is not practicing today. Neither, as expected, is MarShawn Lloyd.

Related Players: Josh Jacobs, Emanuel Wilson, Israel Abanikanda

Fantasy Impact:

Per Schneidman, HC Matt LaFleur said that it was a pre-contact injury that occurred before a jarring hit. Lloyd logged all of six rush attempts as a third-round rookie last year as he battled a litany of injuries. Things are starting off poorly for the potential RB2 option behind Jacobs, and he should be avoided in drafts until we get a clean bill of health.

49ers RB Isaac Guerendo officially Out for Week 16

Mat Maiocco

Dec 20, 2024 · 4:39 PM EST

49ers injury report vs. Dolphins:
Out
RB Isaac Guerendo (foot, hamstring)
OT Trent Williams (ankle)
Questionable
DE Nick Bosa (hip, oblique)
LB Dre Greenlaw (Achilles, knee)
DE Robert Beal (ankle)
(Approximately, 70% of the players the 49ers listed as questionable have played.)

Related Players: Patrick Taylor, Kyle Juszczyk, Israel Abanikanda

Fantasy Impact:

We're assuming Taylor will now be the next, next man up, but they also have Abanikanda, as well as Ke'Shawn Vaughn on the practice squad. Taylor should be considered somewhere in the RB3 range if Guerendo is out, but the others should just be on WW watch for now.
