The Texans activated running back David Johnson from the Reserve/COVID list Wednesday but he did not practice with the team.

Fantasy Impact:

It's too early to confirm Johnson will be back and ready to go for Week 15's matchup with the Colts, but him being activated is a good sign and we should see him return to practice in the near future. A return to practice on Thursday would signal Johnson should be active and ready to lead the Texans' backfield in Week 15.

Fantasy Impact:

Johnson was determined to be a close contact. Johnson was said to be on the verge of a bigger workload this past week but was unable to play. The team said they eased him back in during Week 13 after returning from a concussion. With David back, Duke Johnson could be used more in the passing game with the Texans shorthanded at WR.

Texans RB David Johnson (not injury related) was removed from the injury report Friday. He was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list so he's out for Week 14. Duke Johnson (illness) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week and should carry the load against the Bears.
