Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise (ankle, doubtful) missed practice again Thursday and is doubtful for Week 4. Pete Carroll suggested that J.D. McKissic could absorb some of Prosise’s work in the passing game in Week 4.

Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise has an ankle injury, which could give Thomas Rawls and/or Eddie Lacy more chances this week.

Fantasy Impact: 

The story was mainly about how Rawls played one snap and Lacy didn't play at all, despite being active, last week. HC Pete Carroll said the team wants to run the ball more than it has, as Carson had 11 carries last week while Prosise had four. However it still seems like Carson is the lead guy right now in this backfield.

Tuesday I asked assistant head coach and line coach Tom Cable, whose duties include being Seattle’s run-game coordinator, if he is getting concerned with C.J. Prosise’s dependability after his injury-filled rookie season of 2016.

“I think we all are,” Cable said.

Message sent: Prosise (groin) is indeed gaining the label of fragile, not just outside team headquarters but inside the minds of Seahawks’ decision makers.

Fantasy Impact: 

Prosise is in line for third-down/passing back duties if he can get healthy.
