Jake Locker dislocated his left (non-throwing) shoulder twice in the first four games and did not suit up for Sunday’s game against the Vikings.

Coach Mike Munchak said Locker is improving, but the “smart thing” would be to hold him out another week and target the Oct. 21 game at Buffalo.

“Jake is getting better, no doubt about that. The last couple of days he feels a lot better,” he said. “We’ll hold him and start thinking about the next game.”

Fantasy Impact: 

Matt Hasselbeck will start Thursday night at home against Pittsburgh. It's not a great matchup, and while the potential is there for garbage time points, it's too much of a risk to put Hasselbeck in your lineup.
