Pascal should see an increased role with Campbell out for a while, and potentially for the season. He'll slide in behind Michael Pittman and T.Y. Hilton. Hilton's status for this week is a bit in doubt but isn't considered long-term. The team also made a QB move and eventually Ehlinger could end up being the team's QB2 behind Carson Wentz. It's worth noting because Wentz hasn't exactly been a pillar of health over the last couple of years. For now, it looks like Hundley is still the team's backup, at least until Ehlinger gets up to speed. Ehlinger was the team's sixth round pick and is a rookie.
IND WR Parris Campbell - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 2 vs. Minnesota Vikings
Parris Campbell had a nice start to the season with 71 yards on six receptions, and he tied with T.Y. Hilton for a team-high nine targets from new quarterback Philip Rivers. It was good to see Campbell healthy and active in the offense, reminding fantasy owners why he was highly touted as a playmaker coming out of Ohio State. If he stays on the field, he should be in for a nice season.
This week, Campbell will try to continue his success against a secondary that got torched for four touchdowns from the Green Bay receiving corps last week. The corners looked out of position on multiple possessions, and that bodes well for Campbell’s prospects if he can duplicate his targets from Week 1. With limited production history though, Campbell remains a boom/bust option, good for low-end WR3 status in deep leagues for now.
