Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall’s recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee is over and he’s cleared to play in Sunday’s game against Philadelphia. While there's been no decision on who will start at running back against the Eagles, Mendenhall expects to get significant playing time.

Mendenhall’s teammates hope he’ll be a savior who'll spark a struggling running attack.

“That’s cool. I respect that and I appreciate that,” Mendenhall said. “But at the same time, it’s not a one-man thing. It’s not a one-man game. The running game involves all 11.”

“I hope he helps us a bunch,” offensive coordinator Todd Haley said.
