Like virtually every member of the passing corps dealing with life without quarterback Peyton Manning, Dallas Clark's numbers are down: 14 catches, 136 yards, one touchdown. But his dropped passes are up. He has six on the season, including three in Sunday's loss to Kansas City.

The normally sure-handed Clark suffered only four drops last season.

So, what's up?

Clark missed the final nine games last season after surgery to repair a torn tendon in his right wrist.

"The wrist is great," he said Thursday.

Perhaps the absence of Manning and subsequent change from Kerry Collins to Curtis Painter?

"No. With me? No," Clark said. "It's just no concern. Just have to make plays."
