Texans WR Andre Johnson (ankle questionable) missed practice again Friday and is questionable for week 16. Unlike previous weeks, it actually sounds as if there's a decent chance Johnson could miss this week. Johnson sustained a new injury to the achilles area last week and says, “When I run now, I feel more pain than before. I’ve been getting a shot the past few games, but I can still feel pain. There’s only so much you can numb up, and they can’t numb the joint, and that’s what’s really starting to bother me really bad.”
HC Gary Kubiak said Johnson will test the ankle in pre-game warmups, "If he can take a shot, and he feels like he can run and play, then he’s going to play.” This puts fantasy owners in a serious bind with the Texans not kicking off until 4PM. Owners will need to make sure they have a backup plan going in 4PM or later games to be safe.
