According to the Giants RB Andre Brown (Achilles) was on the field for the start of the OTAs last week. Brown, however, was “limited” according to Tom Coughlin.
Also on the field, according to the Giants, were RB Brandon Jacobs (knee surgery), DE Justin Tuck (shoulder), FB Madison Hedgecock (shoulder), C Shaun O’Hara (elbow), G Rich Seubert (shoulder), WR Mario Manningham (shoulder) and LB Gerris Wilkinson (wrist).
Not on the field, according to the team, were S Kenny Phillips (knee), RB Ahmad Bradshaw (feet, ankle), WR Hakeem Nicks (wrist, toe), and DT Rocky Bernard (shoulder). Also missing was S Michael Johnson, who sat out with a quad strain. The Giants said that Bradshaw and Nicks are expected back by the end of the month.
Giants RBs were kind of a fantasy mess last year. Jacobs underachieved after there were big expectations on him, and it was Ahmad Bradshaw who often got goal line TDs. You never know what to expect but it should still be worth owning both of these guys this season.
