Titans WR Britt has no setbacks in limited action

It wasn’t a spectacular comeback, but Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt was just happy to be back in an NFL game again for the first time since tearing his ACL on Sept. 25, 2011.

Britt was targeted twice and caught one pass for 5 yards. He was rotated in and out of the lineup for precautionary reasons and because he’s not yet in prime game condition.

“It was exciting to be out there on the plays,” Britt said. “It felt good out there. I was happy not to have any setbacks.”

Fantasy Impact:

When Britt was active it likely prompted owners to get him in their lineup either as a low-end WR or a flex play, but 0 points is a crushing result. It seems like Britt will be brought back slowly, but he should see more time next week, and the team needs him too much for him not to be more of a factor. Still, the safe play is probably sitting him until he produces.
